Will I have any issues running an OS p7 turbo plug in my nova 5p ?

I think that the OS thread is different than the Nova thread on plug. It might strip It might have a different height on the plug. I try to always run plugs of the engine.

Nova and OS glow plugs have different taper. When you use an OS glow plug on a Nova engine you will deform the button head then you should stay with them without returning to Nova plugs.

3 years ago I had this same question. My lhs didn't have nova plugs, only O.S. I bought OS 6 plugs. When the time came to use one it didn't go in as smooth as a nova plug, but went in without hurting the head. I've been using OS plugs in my .12 engines since. Another time I didn't have an extra plug and needed one. I asked someone for one, he was running a novarossi, and he handed me an OS plug. At that point I felt a lot better using the OS

Mito 9ONC front bearing

According to Novarossi the front bearings from the Mito 9ONC are the 17008 (steel) or the 17013 (ceramic) which are the same bearings as the Flash Rally. These bearings are 7x19x5mm.
It is possible to replace those bearing with a "regular size" front bearings 7x19x6 ????

nope unless you have the machines to grind off 1 mm of the bearing races.

Thanks Roelof. That makes the onroad Mito a very singular engine referring to bearings. The 9ON has the "special reduced inner ring" rear bearing and the 9ONC has an special front bearing. I was thinking on getting one and was comparing both engines but maintenance on any of them wont be cheap. Why Novarossi has to do this? Thinking twice before buying the Mito 9

Thank you guys but after thinking about it I didn't buy a PT or a lathe. I bought an engine from another brand. ;)

7 port or 9 port?
Is there a noticeable difference between the 2?

Roelof 10-15-2015 07:14 AM

Commercial seen must be the more expensive 9 port configured faster.
