Small dent will nof affect the pipe.

pressure line devices are not needed with .12 engines, but you can get some extra seconds on runtime using it.

hi guys whats the difference between the different manifolds and pipes that novarossi has? im referring to 0.12 engine pipes and manifolds for 200mm i.c. when you change the type of pipe and manifold, do you even feel the difference? fyi i use nova flash PTA .12

Short manifold for longer straight track, long manifold (seven fin)is for higher torque, longer manifold will consume more fuel if I'm not mistaken

They are the new "low budget" range of engines.

Roelof 12-23-2013 01:35 AM

Probably the new basic line

I wonder how "low" it is in price vs performance.I've had 5 novarossi engines in my life and I blew just one of them and that one I blew,I bought it second hand with a stuck bearing before I cleaned it.and used 5 liters on it before it blew.

That's how good I believe these engines are in terms of durability.and I run at 120celcius

+1 NR is my engine brand of choice hands down. They have had a few rough patches over the years but generally I love them. Picco's etc are nice but end up bolting on NR carbs etc to get them to go properly! NR's are generally good out the box

I think the new Live range will be the new 'Clubmans' spec engines. I reckon they'll be pretty quick engines at a relatively affordable price range. I doubt they will be that low on specs - probably the same as the current line but with plastic carbs, steel bearings, no filling/tuned cranks etc.

Whats the best pipe/header combo for a keep on .12?
No specific size track, just whatever will have best performance. Usually use 2660 and switch between medium and short header

Correct, the 2660 pipe with the short or medium conical header. :tire:

ISON GT arrived today and I must say this met my expectations for the first GT specific engine from Novarossi. Break in starts Wednesday in the bitter cold but it will all be worth it just to burn some nitro. I'm thinking about running the 9886 or an 086 pipe with it any objections or other recommendations? I'm excited to get this new addition up and running.

I would suggest 41019 header with 9886, 2052 or 2015 pipe depending on the track layout.
