the MR12 was the same as RS12S1.........

the piston, sleeve and conrod are the compatible with NS/NSR ones........

the crankshaft diameter is 11mm, so the bearings and crankcase are different......

True....

I forgot to mention the European Championship at Serpent track racing against the ultrafast 720s...........again with the most discredited car in the world...........
He qualified 25th.....
Then the semi's were all run in the rain.... You could even do that with a ..... Force engine....... :sneaky:

the plus12 is race proven.........
If you are able to break-in the engine, some are so tight, that it is impossible to break them in......

ok........balestri ran the EC main final alone, this is why he may have won.........

about breaking in, all I know and read form respected forum members is that the sirio sti requires 1 gallon to be properly broken in........

there's no privateer making a main final in a WC, although there's no Kyosho, Serpent nor Mugen official team driver using Novarossi engines and I imagine it makes the things just a little bit harder, but I may be wrong......

and at a WC main final every driver uses a special engine provided by the factory, peter may have droven his murnan engine up to a certain stage of the event, after that the factory take care of the driver's engine.........pretty much the same as sirio done with Teddy in the WC 2004, as soon as he bumped to the quarter final from the qualifying, Saturday he had one new engine for each lower final and of course fot the main final............that's why I can tell anyone that no privateers make the WC main final.........

I've seen the final myself, and it wasn't because of his engine he won, just because really ALL the other drivers made more mistakes then he did....
It rained a lot that week, and only the final was run under dry conditions, and the track was very different from what it was when the top 4 qualified into this final directly (qualifying was under dry conditions).
Dario bumped up a few finals, so actually he was a bit used to the track.....

Also RickV made a mistake by needing a tyre change, because the final was cut to 30 minutes instead of 45, and Rick forgot about that.....(on the 25 minute mark, the car could only spin around, but was not drivable anymore. Mind you he had a 2 laps lead at that time.......)

So, the only thing i'm telling you is that it is not the car/engine combination which wins finals, sure it helps, but the driver is 90%......

Thank god I drive Mega engines.... :D

The engine was not touched by Nova Rossi until the final. The car was pounded after the semi final and they all have 90 mins to work on the car before the final. Nova Rossi did look his the engine and perhaps change the bearings on it. They did give him a free pipe which is very nice of them!

I agree, and choose different manifold (5-7 fins) to suit your track

rcabj 10-31-2006 12:32 AM

Thanks!!
