Geez, it's taken me a year just to save enough for the engine! Chassis will probably take another year...

You must be kidding. That's ok! I have one Picco RS600 and another BMT chassis. If you want,I can give you one. It fits to your age.

No problem! When she is over 5 years old,she is not a baby anymore. Papa will ask her to go out and to see the world. Just gave a mrx2 to my friend lately...

sounds more like rejection to me maybe you could setup some sort of rc adoption agency, sounds like you have a few to many ex racers.
saying that I've gotta stop collecting all my old decaying rc cars and give them to my nephew or something.

Hi guys,

Just purchased a d3r from mushroom. Anyway i read a few pages back in this thread that u need to clean or sand the piston etc (CORRECT ME PLS). Could you guys tell me what I have to do to the inside of the engine?

huh sand the piston? thats new to me....

anyway, its always best with any engine, to open the backplate and pour some fuel thru it to get out any metal particles...

Umm no, dont go doing that to the piston. Id inspect the engine, then put it back togther.. Get a hair dryer and heat it hot as then give her a start

follow the the break-in procedure in the manual that comes with the engine and do as nightmare says.
I think you are referring to a few post back where solutions were being discussed to help reduce the pinch (tightness of engine at tdc) via using metal polish. its not ideal, more like a desperate measure.
