I ran an STS .12 Part# 1018 and sheared the end of the crankshaft off after maybe 1.5 litres of fuel
I know they're cheap, but what's the go with that?
It looks like the material fractured as though brittle

got about 3/4 of a gallon of break in in my 833 engine looks fast .

Hi.
I'm going to break-in this engine. Inside it looks really great with no metal leftovers and nice finish. The carb has 3 needles. Is that the old or the new carb?
Do you change the rod after break-in (heat-cycle)? It hasn't got a very hard pinch like some other brands of new engine got, so I'll guess the rod doesn't get too stressed.

is there anyone still using sts engine cos i just finish rebuild my old sts d3r after crankshaft broken,
i wonder if 1080 how good it is for bashing as i see from rc-mall it way too cheap for my niece start playing rc
