I ran mine with my tuning done to it. We tested it against the stock version, and the tuned was much faster.

What is the difference between the C12L-E and the C12L-ET Capricorn .12 motors? Is there a big difference in performance? Anyone had experience with the Capricorn clutch setup that can be purched as a package with the 2611 pipe? Looking to possibly try that setup in my RRR EVO 2. The Kyosho 2D clutch setup is okay. I had to put 2 grub screws in each weight to get the snap I've been looking for but I feel like there should be mor. I also tried out the CRF clutch setup whcich was designed for the WASP .12 and it seems to work fairly well but wanted to know if anyone has had good results from the Sirio/Capricorn one. I have 3 Sirio EVO 4 STI's and they are easy to tune, have power everywhere and great run time. Are the Capricorn versions that much better?

Regards,
Speyederjedi.

On the Capricorn RC website there is an "IVA" selection for the prices with or without this. Does anybody know what that charge is? It seems to change the price by quite a bit.

Jedi you can purchase the Capricorn engines & tuned raced parts from the U.S. distributor which is Murnan Mods & that should save you spending on the IVA/Shipping overseas

IVA translates to VAT... In italy that's 20% of the total cost, I believe..

Ordered my Capricorn CL12-ET from Murnan Modified and should have it some time next week. Can't wait to get it on the track and see how it compares to my Sirio Evo 4 STI. BTW, found out Murnan Mods will be carrying the Capricorn engine combos in a few weeks. You can view the different combos on the Capricorn website. I'll be looking to pick one up with the pipe and clutch combo.

George and Tommy,

Thanks for your posts on the CL12-ET test and tune info. I should be getting mine in this week and will be at my local track on Saturday to break-in and start my own test and tuning. Unfortunately I don't have one of the Sirio or Capricorn clutch set-ups. I do have a CRF clutch set-up from one of my old CRF WASP's and put it on one of my Evo 4 STI's. It is quite a bit more aggressive than the stock 2D set-up, so I'll be running that one for now. Are the Sirio and Capricorn clutch set-ups the same or is one better than the other?

Thanks again for the info,
Regards,
Speyederjedi

With the right setup you can make any clutch good. I have ran both the sirio and the capricorn both are pretty equal.

They are both great the Capricorn Clutch has a wider range of different shoes blue, red, yellow soft, yellow high grip as for the Sirio the blue shoe is only available
