You must be hearing things or have been breaking in too many motors on the prop. The tuned version runs great, with the exception of the heat dissipation of the mag head, if you have issues run the stock aluminum cooling head. The stock R.21 is also a monster with a great price point.

I agree 10litres:eek: and lose all compression, thats piss week.
Its got me concerned.
I have put about 3 litres through my .12 and it has lost a shit load of pinch.

My .21 has used 6 litres and is still very tight.

Both where broke in using swaugers method

So what are people thoughts on the .28. Looking at getting a new motor for the truggy.

Cheers

wallyedmonds 07-31-2007 09:38 PM

you think thats bad 10L

a jp,max, any novarossi motor is less than that and the motor has lost most of its compression

im saying at 10L for me its pinch is gone but it still runs good,
still better than all other motors over the years.

"still runs good" may be the key phrase. I've got an old NR N12LL3 in which I spent a little over a gallon breaking in and I've now got 16 gallons through it or 59L. It was pinched after 14gl. The newer motors appear to be faster and have better run time than this motor but it is suprisingly durable:nod: The JL motor also loses a lot of pinch in the first few liters, but was also fast for me before I ruined it.
