That person was me. I was talking to one of the Gandini Bros and Mike Swauger at the worlds and his exact words were "end of october to early/mid november", maybe they have had some issues with production. But that was what he told me.

Any one got any update?

jfro6512 12-04-2006 03:28 AM

Yes Slo-MTX-4, I was not trying to flame you at all, I'm more upset at them for getting our hopes up. I've been looking for a good back-up motor for my 12-3CT. I just hope the ninja will be available when the MTX-4 WC comes out

Nitro$junkie 12-04-2006 03:50 AM

hopefully Mugen will make a combo WC MTX-4 with the Ninja now that would be mouth watering

Dear Santa,

Instead of bringing me a Christmas gift this year, please give the guys at GRP the help they need to finally put the engine on the street! We have been waiting forever! :sneaky:

Thanks!
:) :)

Seriously! What's the problem?? Was the design that far off? Yes, I know the engine is probably going to be even better - and yes, I would rather have the engine delayed than flawed, but really now! :sneaky: :D :D

End of Feburary 2007. :)

They are waiting to long. A lot of guys will be ordering engines before then for the up coming season. :(

I have a question.. Now that Ninja has released a new version of the .21 onroad engine, how do I know It's the new or old version by looking at the box? What exactly should I look for on the label or engine? I'm thining of buying one but would hate to get suckered into buying the older version because I heard it major problems with the connecting rod.

Thanks.. :)

It's Laser etched in the top of the cooling head. For example MR21 R-01A is for the newer motors. :)

Great.. Thanks :)

Nice rubbers for the shaft :sneaky:
Is that a common thing these days? (ie. For manufacturers to protect the crankshaft like that?)

Has any brother tried using NovaRossi's and O'donnell's spark plug on Ninja's?
