I think this is the new look for Ninja. There will be a R and a T version. T being the tuned version from Mario. The pic is of the Falcon...same as Ninja made by GRP.

And yes, the head is magnesium.

Is a Truggy engine with a Magnesium heatsink, look on the heatsink and you could read MR-01T (Truggy). The Heatsink is much bigger than the on-road version (and of course, come with the carb barrel on the other side...).

Yes, this is the offroad Falcon. Here's more. The onroad will be R and T versions.

The new onroad Ninja will be at the WinNats...both .12s and .21s :sneaky:

and the heatsink is more white, than gray.

Hum, so MAYBE this is why the .12 is taking so long? ;)

rmdhawaii 02-06-2007 10:46 AM

The fact that the engine isn't coming out is getting pretty annoying, but it's their problem, not ours. If we need a new engine, we'll just buy something else. :sneaky:

If we're lucky, they are reengineering the entire Ninja engine line to address any issues that were uncovered during the past year. No sense putting out an engine that has problems or lack-luster performance - which was some of the early speculation as to why the .12 engine was not showing up in stores. Better to put out a good engine that has great performance and no issues than put out a bad engine and end any chances of recovering the cost of R&D and putting the engine on the market.

I sure hope they were smart enough to run the engine on NitroDyne System's Dyno to check the actually performance of the engine. If it can come out on top in the charts that are publicly published, it will certainly help sales.
