At the EFRA GP at the mach RickV used a ninja, but he sad it was still prototype, and he clearly missed some botom power... he still managed to get to the final though...

according to comments from liverc, mike only had two engines available at the nationals, and that was it, if something happened, he wouldn't have how to repair the ninja so he trusted his worthy JP.
I've been very patient with the release of the 12 size and if taking time is the way to provide for top of the line performance, and customer satisfaction of course, then be it!

Default Ninja 21 Onroad

Well i pick up a ninja motor about 2 weeks ago and this weekend that pass i started to break it in which was the onroad 21 motor. As so as i got home i notice that in the case which the motor came with there was an extra shim. Just wondering whats the reason for this extra shim and sould i add it to the motor. I'm running 30% Mugen Fuel .

Bino,
Get my # from Mikey and give me a call. I'll set the engine up proper for you.

No, Mike had one at nationals. I'm 99.9% sure. Dont think that Mugen was going to risk a huge race like this one with a new engine that they had received not long ago. Mike/Mugen have their reasons for not using the Ninja in the race. But Mike did try it a few times on track.

Just saw two Ninjas .21 run at my track yesterday during qualifying day. All I can say is that I had trouble following the cars with my sight from the pits. Both of them were flying on the straight and on the turns. I'll let you know the outcome of the races today.

Hehehe... is what I'm trying to explain since more than a month. Are considered 'soft' and lacking of punch, but the chrono doesn't lies... many people is faster with them... is a powerband 'strange' because it feels soft, but is the lack of grunt what makes wonders around the track.

This for many people isn't enough, if their heatsink isn't signed by JP or others will think that's worthless. Ok... their is the option of burning >650 US$ on mills with more grunt.

Well, the 2 Ninjas ran by Joaquin de Soto Jr. and Sr. won first and second. Both engines were blazing fast during the main. The only car that I can say that was as fast as these two bad boys was Roniel's 960 with a DSII.
