GO on Losi 8T 1,0
Hi guys,
just wanted to ask anyone using Losi 8T 1.0 with the GO GXII? Need some setup info on 8T 1,0. Clutch Bell/Shoes.. etc... appreciate the help... I know inferno13 have a GO on Losi 8T 2.0. Just got a 8T 1.0 from a friend... just trying out the Truggy.. :) Thanks, run a search for GO GXII on Losi 8T forum... 48/13 better than 50/13? |

How are the Go plugs guys? T3 and T4..
Are they good quality, or do most people run OS instead? Looking for something for my Argus, Go 3-port, and maybe a Picco P7(assuming the taper is non-OS in the case of the Picco...) Thanks. |

Well I'm breaking my Argus in with an OD 97T right now, but I keep reading more and more bad stuff about them. Plus they're not even being made anymore. Need a new go-to turbo plug, and since even OS is iffy now and then, was wondering if I should maybe stock up on some Go's.

i believe i put it in my buddies motor in a pinch and it kept going. :lol: All this BS about OD plugs is mostly user caused. |

OK I stand corrected. Just assumed they were done since Tower was selling them off for peanuts a while back.
I've only got 3-4 tanks through my Argus right now, and on my 2nd Odonnel plug. It was being weird and cutting out without the ignitor, so I changed to a 2nd plug. Seems better now with some needle adjustments and the second plug. After reading about dropped coils, etc.. though I was feeling hesitant. Like the price of the Go plugs though.. So again, anybody? Are the Go plugs good quality? |

I am a very capable tuner and I have nothing but issues with OD plugs in my modified engines....OD plugs are too cheaply made the coils cannot handle the loads I put onto them....I can barely make a OD last more then a tank or two, whereas a Werks will last upwards of 2 gallons in the same conditions........Also the tuning and runtimes are far superior on the Werks plugs...OD plugs seem to be far too hot to inside one of my engines.....But obviously OD plugs work in milder engines or they would not be so popular.... |
got a new buggy in the fleet, just seems to not fit in without a GO ENGINE!! anything in the future for a GO-MOTOR (electric) GO-ENGINES seems to be a sucsess!!! why not a GO-MOTOR?;)

I have used od plugs since day 1 of my nitro racing.....never had any issues....like rider313 said.....they last well over 2 gallons for me....and only get changed once i realize how long ive run them and dont want to risk getting a dnf

I use to run OS and switched to OD...Never going back. :nod:

Also i recomend if you go with a Modified engine USE that Modders recomended plug for the motor for he knows what works best in his mills. |

More good news from New Mexico. 2011 King of the Hill race in White Rock (Los Alamos), New Mexico. 6000 plus feet in altitude running 30%, no flameouts, sick power and stable idle. Gota love Go-Engines!!!!!
Every time I run my engines, they just keep getting better! 1st place finish "A" main buggy and 1st place "A" main truggy. They ran electric buggies and truggies with the nitro cars and trucks. Only one truggy could keep up my pace and then he started thermaling, so he pulled out. Stupid e-cars, hahaha!!!:lol: Pics later after the race director gets them posted. |
