thanks! let me know how you like it! have been considering one for a whille now, will losi shoes work on the m2c clutch?
It's a 4 shoe flywheel, I filled the inner row of set screws and 4 on the outside.I have a heavy throttle finger and this gx5r screams! Thought it might slow me down on the bottom. I'll let you know sunday how it is. |

I do not think the losi shoes fit. Different mounting styles. I to have been contemplating the M2C unit, only thing holding me back is I am wondering about there composite shoes and how well they hold up.
I found the GX5R with 2green ".95" springs on alm shoes with 2 black ".9" on composite shoe work great in buggy with standard alm flywheel. Not sure I would like a heavy flywheel on the GX but hey that's why they made it adjustable right? |

HEY BOYS !! Check out the sexy new hard coated and black coated EFRA 2072 pipes from Mr GO
Will be in stock at my place next week with a bit of luck. Going out the door fast on pre order  They are also offering a combo motor / cap and motor / T-Shirt deal, but you don't get to choose what cap or shirt you get, it is random selection from the factory, so I haven't gone down that road. Most of my customers like to know exactly what they are getting - as do I :) But the pipes are hot  |

I will be ordering some soon, but I have 100 combos with the polished pipe on the way. :weird:

Are the new pipes ceramic coated and or reduce temps?
|
Not to my knowledge. Jury's still out on whether ceramic insulation on the exhaust helps with these engines. I need to do some more testing, but the exhaust pipe acts somewhat like a radiator, pulling heat out of the engine. The end result is that your engine runs hotter.
When you insulate the pipe, you get a lot of heat that stays within the engine, since you lose a tremendous amount of radiant surface area (the entire pipe). You're probably going to get better results by adding some airflow around the pipe itself. |
