Comparing it to my brothers xs Reds manifold I can see how much bigger the GO item is, thanks.

broke one of these in this weekend and I've got to say its the best running engine I've had in a long time.I'm using the arrow pipe.I did have to use an O.S. carb because mine came with the wrong idle screw and wouldn't open the slide.so far I'm very impressed with the V4.time.will tell on the longevity.

Hello all!
I'm really interested in this engine! I'm thinking of going with 2 of these in mugen mbx7 and 7t. The pipe have is the nova 9901 the manifold is 41019. The carb I'm using is a nova also. Do you guys think this setup is gonna be okay for this engine?

In terms of running they are opposites. Alpha big power down low, Arrow smooth down low like a VZ-B V-spec.
The latest Arrow versions have that DLC coating on the crank to make it last longer.

I have sold Go, Arrow, Alpha and now am the importer of Argus. I really do not see any similarities between the Alpha/Argus and the Arrow which is made by Go. I think the quality of the Alpha/Argus are better than the Arrow but the Arrow is a good engine. Alpha does not make a short stroke like the Arrow. The story I heard years ago was that someone that worked at Go split off and started Alpha.

I've got a question. I just bought a new arrow gtr .21 v3. It comes with an extra shim in the box. The manual says to put the shim on the motor for the first 1-2 gallon or install it after the break-in process. This seems confusing to me? I searched through this forum and saw the most use the shim only at the break-in process and after that (when mech. pinch is almost gone) remove the extra shim and leave one silver and one copper/brass. Can someone verify this is the right thing to do? Thanks
