Came #9 again in A-final today. Was closing on #6 but some guy rear-ended me so that cost me a lot of time.
Good run today, disastrous qualifying though, wrong tyrechoices and setups for the conditions, ran quarter final and semi final, and the A-final.
So far very happy with the Arrow, although I do run it with an OS carb and case, it's just as fast as any other engine, in fact it's faster down the straight than the Nova's like 4BTT, and now that I have about 8 liters (more than 2 gallon) on it, it seems very reliable.

You need to differentiate "speed", there are VZ-B based Speeds and there are XZ-B speeds.

Would it possible to use a Ninja JX 21 b01 CrankCase and Crank, with the arrow piston, sleeve and rod. Would it be possible to use the JX Crank and rod.. and use the arrow piston and sleeve? Thanks!

Yes. The new GR-II is almost the same as the JX-21 Bo1a. All parts are interchangeable.

They will not fit any engine based of the XZ-B though, only the VZ-B based engines (short stroke only).

Thank you. That is good to know. I love my JX21. I was thinking I could use the arrow piston and sleeve when it finally wears out.. but keep the JX crank since it is already filled. Anyone else try a combo like this?

Yes I ran the JX crank in my GTR-21 3 port and it made it have more bottom end power. The new GTR-II Plus (3+2 port) engine has more bottom end so the stock crank works fine. But I would imagine that the Ninja crank would give it even more power because it is lightened.

Is the arrow crank case the same as the Ninja? I was under the assumption the ninja crankcase was actually a OS .28 ?

No they are not the same. The ninja case has a larger crankcase volume, so the Arrow engine will have more power then the Ninja. But the piston and sleeve are the same size.
