i personally dont use the breakin shim. But it will take alot of stress off you connecting rod if you use. these motors are tight and may take a lil while to get fired up. heat heat heat. if you have any problems or questions pm me and i can help you.

doesnt matter where you put the breakin shim as it is to add a lil head clearance to ease the tightest. they say to remove after about a gallon. good luck you will love the motor

I almost give up. But I kept going. Mechanical pinch is hard.
Well, it is worth it once you get to run it.

One of the 2 USA Arrow distributors is having a super special right now on the updated Arrow V2 engine. Its the new carb and case design. Special pricing is available to authorized dealers only and not to the public. This version has an 8 and 9 mm insert and does not come with any glow plugs, but man is it inexpensive right now!!!! Please contact me via PM for special low price including shipping!

The new Arrow-Racing GTR-21-V2 engines are now in stock at Hobby Pro USA.

The changes to the newest Ver II GTR vs the original engine are:
1. New crankcase
2. New carb body
3. New carb o-rings
4. New crankshaft
5. 6.5mm & 7.0mm Venturi's
6. OS P3 Turbo Glow Plug
7. New back plate (required to fit new crankcase)

The new Crankshaft has been redesigned with a much smoother finish/cut for a smoother power band and increased fuel mileage. I modified the crankshaft on my 2nd Arrow GTR-21 last summer, and now Arrow Racing has incorporated this mod to their Ver II crankshaft.

The new back plate allow more fuel intake for increased power.
Note: some of the original back plates will not fit the new crankcase because it fits too far into the case which causes the crankshaft pin to rub or bind on the back plate. This will quickly damage your engine, so be sure to use the Ver 2 back plate with the Ver 2 crankcase.

10 more engines arriving Monday for the super special. These are all the new V2 engines but unlike the Hobby Pro version they come with 8 and 9mm inserts and no glow plug. The price is to good to pass up. Get in on the deal before it ends.
