plug
has anyone run it with an odonnell97 plug, i am going to try to get through the heat cycles at least with one. and then switch to p3 if necessary!
|
yes you can run it with od97t plugs. i would suggest you get a p3 plug. as they tune kind of hard with odonnell plugs unless you can get the hot plugs
|
run P3's with this engine and you will have no problems, Use breakin shim for about 1 to 1.5 gals and then take out and re tune.
Engine is fast even with break in shim in. Enjoy |
Can i use the os xzb con rod
In the arrow gtr? |
I am afraid it doesn't fit. XZB is long stroke. Arrow is short stroke.

Please disregard this message in it's entirety. I was mistaken.

Made the mistake of accidentally buying a Gen 1 version of this engine from ebay seller "atomrc" who conveniently neglected to mention that the case on Gen1 was a dud, and that the o-rings were the wrong size on the carb.
So question is now, how do I get the updated Gen 2 case and o-rings? I feel a bit cheated, the seller made sure to write "2011 version" but conveniently neglected to mention the flaws. |
