Those shocks look like there off of a losi truggy?
|
They are losi buggy springs. I like how short they are, so they don't rub on the shock bodies. Also, josh cyrul said sorter springs worked way better on his agama. I also tried front agama gray springs on the rear. I've only tried them once but they worked good. My buggy is so light that I can not get proper ride height with the stock springs.

FWIW, Arrow rod is one beefy SOB. Something like 25% heavier than norm V-Spec rod. Didn't weigh against a Speed rod yet.
No one should be breaking an Arrow rod. |
Break-in was a little hard. Mechanical pinch.
Took about 1 gallon. Compression will be very good. In fact none of the engine are easy except a OS. That's explain why the OS didn't last long. For the price, one of the best engine and performance too. I don't know much about Arrow but they have good engine. |

 tq for the tips. What venturi are you running and what sort of run times I am looking at ?
The engine comes alive after the break in. Lots of power and lightning response. Still running a little fat. Run times is about 9+ mins. Might need to run my shock softer. |

Hi Guys,
Arrow Engine present one or two version ? and different? Best Pipe ? Thank you |
the second version has the stronger case, and maybe something else but i dont remember. i have the 2nd version and i have tryed dynamite053/086 pipe,0801,2013. and liked all of them. if you are looking for a smooth one with good mileage the 053 pipe, or if you are looking for a torque pipe 0801 has it all lowend and highend. i have found that arrow likes just about all pipes.lol

Version 2 has an updated case that holds the bearings in place and an updated carb with larger O-rings to hold the needles in place. everything is in place now...:D

I have both an arrow and a vspec and they are very similar... But the quality of workmanship on the arrow leaves something to be desired. Some of the bits on the arrow look like they were dremelled out by a blind man. Still its nice to know i can find replacement parts for the vspec much cheaper and the relocation of the oiling hole is a great idea.
Leftover Vspecs go for similar money nowadays.. maybe $30 or $40 more. It's a real tossup between the two. The vspec is probably the better buy.. then just buy an arrow crank, psr etc after 6 gallons. The quality of the 21j carb is way better than the arrow carb. Smoother, better materials/workmanship. |
