Well how did the racing go this weekend from Team Argus? Looks like from the posts on this thread that the engine is working well this season. Looking forward to getting a few myself....:nod:

Very good engines. Im sure you will be pleased. I have customers with over 5 gallons on them and still running strong.

I've got a little over a gallon with the Argus now, and really like it!

Ive got a little over a gallon on mine now too and it's still tight. Im still heating to get it to fire up. So far though Im pleased as it has tons of power all the way through the power band and the run times are well over 10 min in truggy. And its never flamed out! Ive been running a 2057 pipe since thats all I had, wich made the bottom really smooth IMO, but didn't limit low end torque. I will be trying a 2081 this weekend and will post up results.

i heard that these engines are basically a red head Alpha engine, is this true? if not, how do they compare? i really like the Alphas but wanted to give one of these a try.

thanks in advance. It is not like the Red head Alpha, more similar to the Orange head. It has a little heavier crank so it is a little smoother than the Orange. Works great in a truggy or buggy. Rex |

Yes they tune like an Alpha, same carb with a long lsn. Alpha's have been coming with the long lsn for a year now.

The fit and finish of this Dynamite 2081 pipe is really good for 56 bucks. Cant wait til sat to see how it performs. :D
