Once you get a good race tune on it the mileage will come. This weekend I ran a 3 minute warm up then the 5 minute qualifier and had about 1/3 tank left at the end. Once the motor gets more time on it will help to.

How was the weekend racing for the Argus guys? Spring is starting to hit in many parts and the nitro racing is getting going.
Anyone test any of the Jammin Jp line of pipes on the argus? |

Been running the 2035 and is good but fuel econimy isn't the best, but hey i don't care if i have to pit once more then the other guys thats racing.... I think my motor has finaly dropped its nuts as it went really fat half way through my main on sunday and had no bottom end but it kept running well i'm very impressed with this motor and still looking forward to seeing what happens with it

Guys, what you have to realize is, any pipe will work. You have to pipe your motor the way you tune your motor. What suits you may not suit somebody else. Everybody drives different and wants different things out of there buggy or truggy. I run the 801 suits me just fine. My buddy runs a 2057, he wins races and so on........ Choose what works for you !!!!

Yep Hdcruzer is right, An engine will run as long as it has a pipe. There eare so many pipes out there, that it would take a very long time to try them all. Generally to cut to the chase its best to run the pipes desinged for the engine. That way you know you are going to have the optimal, power, run times etc... But its all about preference, some guys like weak "soft " pipes and some guys like "Power" pipes. etc......Some guys run them with the first pipe they have lying around and stick with it and dont worry about. And some guys after doing that and switching to the suggested pipe, see the huge diference and wished they would have just used the suggested one to begin with. And there are some pipes that are not suggested for a specific engine and work very well. And so one and so on.:)

I have been very happy with the 0801 pipe on both truggy and buggy. Great power on bottom and top as well as great mileage.

Just got my engine. Wondering if this engine needs to be sealed. Or is most just installing it straight from the box without any sealing.

I have been running them without any sealing, the o-rings are good and tight.

I have been trying to reach Jonathan Jenkins at Argus USA for a couple of weeks now about some Argus stuff. Also have not seen any posts since in awhile too. Any help getting in touch with them would be a big help....
Thanks Jeff |
