Check with Lance at RcRenew.com, he may still have a few left for sale. If he's out, then send a pm to Hdcruiser...I think he may have a couple left for sale. Good luck!

I'm considering to try Argus A52 but only have the 2058 werks pipe. Can I use it with Argus?

I ordered the engine but don't know if the 2058 pipe will work good. Any inputs please.

Īt was my favorite pipe on the Argus ...blows the ass off the 2081

I've read your posts about 2058 but you mentioned there it performs excellent on modded engine, did you ever try it with stock one?

In my opinion the Werks 2058 and 2013 work ok but I prefer the Other pipes, The F0801 for punch and the 2090 for smoothness.
The werks pipes havent got the mileage these pipes have.

The 2081 lacks some top but has rediculous bottom end.

will novarossi venturi fit Argus A52?

ZachM54 03-15-2012 03:59 PM

A52/JP-3

I haven't been following this forum through it's entirety so sorry if this is a repeated question. I was just wondering what you guys thought about the A52 and JP-3 combo.
Thanks

Took both my A52 motors out of their cars and checked them out after their first race with VP power master fuel. The modded motor has about a full gallon on run time and still has lots of pop in it. I took the back plates off took a few pics and sent them to Lance and he said the oil coating looks great.

I will try to swap out pipes on the 2 motors and check out which motor and pipe I like best on my buggy. The modded or stock A52 with the 0801 or 2090.

At the PNB race I ran my buggy with the modded motor with a 7mm carb and 7mm stinger on the pipe with the Buku clutch. I was able to keep the car from being too punchy on the bottom end while having more than enough motor to make the big jump. These motors performed great at this big race.

After these motors are worn out I cant wait to try the Alphas.

Thanks alot Lance.

such a shame no one has picked up Argus over there. Motors are performing awesome here in NZ. New products on the way are .23 truggy motor, Argus TB-1 ehaust (2090 equivalent) and Argus 2081

That's great to hear.. Stoked Argus fan here..

As long as they keep selling Alphas basically, but at a lower price, I'll be a follower.

twitch_1 03-20-2012 03:58 AM

These motors are so good and it's going to be hard to find another motor that comes close 20+ litres and it's still got massive amounts of compression with no problems...

Herrsavage 04-01-2012 03:03 AM

Awfully quiet here.. No news? Nobody seems to be talking about the B52 much.. I would've thought, with it supposedly having even more power than the A52, that it would get some attention.. Or what, is Argus just in a distributor-less purgatory at the moment?

Kevin_M 04-01-2012 03:10 AM

IDK I will be racing my A52s this season. Im about to load up the car and head out just waiting on friend to get here so we can load up and go.

Im trying to get to see how long i can go on fuel today Ill have to try both my motors and pipes to see what I like for my tracks up here.
