Is anyone running the b6 and werks pipe on the Durango 408 does it fit??

rageworks 03-15-2011 03:53 PM

Why wouldn't it? Was the Dorito made in a way that
you can only use certian engines and pipes?

The only place to get an OS engine with any type of customer service is from Clockwork ;)

Maximo , hi ! i would like to ask you a few questions if it's alright with you...thanks in advance.
1.what fuel is best to use with the B6? (here in the Philippines available nitro is cosmo, rapicon, saxo, nitroX)
2.would it be 25% or 30% ?
3.available glow plugs here are o.s , novarossi only.which is best to use with the B6?
4.how many gallons of fuel would be consumed before i need to replace the connecting rod?
Thank you,
Dr.Gerald Lo

can you give me the Specs on the fuel

I would replace conrod only if you feel slop...but it never hurts to freshen up the engine ...

OS P4 p5 will work with my Clocked B6...and you could test the Nova plugs in the medium range... ( I have never tested Nova plugs in my mod B6 )

Yes, the best customer service for any questions for any clockwork engines. i have 2 clocked speeds from neal and john and they are very fast fast.

Jaz240 03-15-2011 05:05 PM

Man I hear some horror stories about guys who buy engines from other modifiers. They all tell me the same thing. They get nothing but excuses from the mod guy. User error, you ran it to lean, you used the wrong fuel, etc, etc. I have never gotten the brush off from Neal and John even when it was my fault. Not saying it's all free, but There are only 1 or 2 mod guys who take care of their customers as well as CRE

Honestly, the customer service that I have received from ClockWorkRacing is probably the best customer service that I have ever received period! Neal even answered his phone for me during dinner time, who does that?! I mean seriously, Neal even made me call him on Sunday to make sure that my Clocked O.S. 25xz was running up to expectations... For me, ClockWorkRacing is the only company that I will be doing business with when it comes to modified RC engines! Not just because they build a GREAT engine, but because of the outstanding customer service that comes along with it! Total winners in my book!

If everyone did business the way these guys do business there would be no such thing as a negative feedback......

Its doing great! Im about 3/4 of a gallon through it now and it gets better and better every couple of tanks! Great bottom end torque, great mid-range power, and an explosive top end thats like RIGHT NOW:nod: And man, I can't believe how good it is on fuel... I was with a buddy of mine at the track last weekend, he's been racing for years, and after putting down one lap with this engine he was totally sold on it! Thats saying a lot too being that im nothing special of a driver yet because im brand new to the sport.. He just kept complimenting on the sound of the engine and the power that it has coming out of the corners and down the straights.. Says this will be his next engine! A few of the other local racers were asking about it too! Needless to say you'll probably be shipping a few more engines out here to my neck of the woods..
I'll finish breaking it in this weekend, just waiting on a new servo to come in..
