Anyone know the part number for Adam drake 5tcl nova piston, rod, sleeve. Hope to find online.

Can't you just use just about any other 16.26x16.80mm Nova piston sleeve kit for that 21 plus crankcase?

I believe the Drake does use the RB conrod, that has a slight bigger crakpin, but the standard R7 rod can be made to fit easily.

Are old novarossi plugs different than new style plugs. I installed a protek turbo plug in my p5 and it leaked around the threads.

Isn't the Protek an O.S. based engine?

The first run was Novarossi based.. but I'm thinking he used the OS version

Hi, i have an old jp racing eagle b.5 (fx crankcase), and i have seen, if my memories are good that the novarossi p5 piston/sleeve are the same, can someone tell me if it is right?? I am looking to rebuild it. Any info and advise on this will be appreciated...

Hi, does anyone happen to know if you can run 16% Nitro in a Novarossi .21 Keep on engine? I've read before you can adjust with shim removal, but I'm not sure how many need to be removed. I know the Mephisto engine includes a 28038 button head for running 16% and recommends purchasing a 28025 button head for running 25%. I'm wondering if the same applies to the Keep On engine which comes with a 28025 button head. Not sure what to do since they banned 25% nitro here in the EU.

Any engine configured for 25% will run fine on 16%. Do you want the best out of it, then you need to remove 0.1mm headshim.

So I haven’t run my car for over a year. The car was stored properly, engine oiled, clutch removed etc.. tried to run it for the first time today and the engine is running backwards. I’m confused because I haven’t changed anything, yes my fuel is over 1 year old but was still sealed and stored properly, also tried a different fuel and new glow plug and same issue…so frustrated right now. About to give up on it 😩

make sure your diffs are installed right that could be the issue and the engine could be running fine.

Can’t believe this… right after my post I went back out and reset my carb needles and all is good.. 😎
