A new Novarossi seems to be on it's way out, looks like a Mantra with DLC coated crank.

I heard about this engine coming a few months ago and I’m glad it’s finally here. Wonder what other engines will get the DLC crank?

They also recommend the 2135 pipe now. I liked the engine even though I felt it did need some corrections, smooth buggy engine.

I personally have only done this to the first edition Toro Nero engines as they were lacking bottom end torque..

All my novas run with stock shims up until about the 7- 8 gallon mark, this is where I get ghost flame outs so I then re-shim to .7 and then again if need be to .6, but at this point run time will go down and its time for a rebuild or a new engine..

My engines run up until the 10 gallon mark reliably after that i'm just playing Russian roulette.

lil review here,,
just had a 2 races with my new friend Novarossi Mantra with 9901 pipe,
it has a huge low end punch and very smooth engine,, temp around 105C-110C, still have a pinch (even its a factory break in engine)

Put it in a ziplock and store with the crank pointed down, so if there is any fuel left in there it will sit on the front bearing not the rear bearing. I always replaced bearings if I had an engine sit for awhile.

best combo for power and fuel mileage in buggy and truggy.

mantra in buggy with what header and pipe?

mita in truggy with what header and pipe

rolling in truggy with header and pipe combo?

roma .25 in truggy with header pipe combo?

also I get longer header more torque. so many headers 41005, 41019, 41020, 21021, 41027, 41029, 41030... which ones are most commonly used ?

what pipes do what? 9901 , 9853 , 2096 and 9886.. which is most used?

feel free to pm me if its easier. jeremy

For buggy I would guess 41021/9901
Truggy 41021/9853
You want a .21 in truggy

Monty Houston is great to ask. Houston Engine Services on here

I talked to Novarossi, I asked directly what the best exhaust system for fuel consumption.
They told me the 41021 51006M
