7mm, 9minutes with good tune, to get that extreme runtime would require extreme tune.

I ran a 6mm in mine at all times. You can probably drop down to a 5.5 at delta. Tuned right and fully broken in you should be able to be pitting damn close to 10 min

Ok I've searched and read and on and on.....haven't really found what I'm looking for,
Half that is Novas fault with all these damn options!! Lol
Anyway, I want to run a MITO4 in my buggy and MiTO7 in my truck....question is, what pipe and header!!?? 9901 for torque right? 2896 for smooth linear?? Headers!?!?! I even seen one listed that is Mugen specific!?! (I run TLR)
So, any and all help is appreciated! Thanks! Oh, and can someone tell me the pros and cons to the port count or what the port count actually does for the motor?

I run Mito 4 with 2096 and 41031 conical header, 7mm Venturi. Clutch springs 1.05mm and it has excellent bottom end and a controllable mid and top.
The biggest change I found with 4 port vs 5 I was running is the bottom end hit and then tapers off to smoother mid and top. It's the way I like it and it's basically my fave setup in buggy

I've seen you get amazing run times too
I plan to run those motors this year....but I can't justify buying 10 different pipe combos to see what they do....id say 90% of the time torque is what I need, with the occasional wide open layout that shows up at Thornhill Racing Circuit (home track). We usually have a Joey track with short run ups....ill run The Drake combo to start and see what's up! Thanks!!!

Those Mito engine and pipe/header combos are right on. Chad Phillips in addition to Adam Drake has those being used. I think there is some differences in the restrictor sizes but you can all find what works and tunes.
Anyone run the Jammin Pipes at all.? Or they crap in today's standards? I have them from 10 years ago and I have the JP-1 Bottom end type and JP-2 Top End type. I liked them back then. They are hard anodized and the dirt does not cake onto the pipe which is nice and the stinger outlet is built to last with its design.
Or say I get the appropriate pipe/headers made by Novarossi, does anyone seen them hard anodized by anyone?
