Guess i will buy another paloma blue head if it will get above 8 or 9 minutes at race pace. The new rex legend 7 is quite expensive compare to paloma anyway

I just bought a new Keep Off for my buggy and it has the mid needle. Is there a happy medium like flush or something before i start to break it in?

Whats up guys?! I'm fairly new to nova engines and was wondering if anyone could provide me with break-in procedures. I just bought the P5XLT, Bonito and Virtus . Would appreciate any useful advice for breaking in these engines, thanks I appreciate it!!

Try to read up on houston face book page . He explains how to break in a engine . And that's the way I've always done it and had long running engines ..

I found his fb page but no verbiage on break-in there. There was a thread in RC Tech tuning bible where I saw he gave two methods of break in procedure is it the same as on fb. See the link below. http://www.rctech.net/forum/offroad-...eak-bible.html

Hey guys just to put this one to bed, for me at least lol, i mixed things about what to start tuning for with Novarossis. Some start with the LSN some start with the HSN to start tuning. Which is it? And do I start tuning at half a tank of fuel?

You can, if you're really, really super careful about tightening the plug..
I used to run them all the time because I felt like the engine ran better with them. But if you're in a hurry, or for example your pit guy discovering a dud plug just before a heat starts, you risk the dreaded gorillatighten deformation..
The taper has the same angle and everything, it's just the tapered area is smaller on the OS plug, so it's pushing on a smaller area of the head button. Hence if you slightly overtighten it, you deform the head button.

So.. if you are 100% sure you will always be super super careful with tightening it.. sure.. but if you think maybe one day you'll be in a hurry or your pit guy will replace a plug.. better run a Nova plug. Hence.. I'll just be running the Nova plugs from now on, even if they cost more and need more frequent replacement.
