Hey guys
Ive got a couple Nova virtus .21 for the truck and plus.21-4bttwc/a for the buggy all being factory tuned. Anyone have any pointers or obvious blunders that i should know? Ive had REDS for years and managed to get quite a knowledge about them. I know with the newer carbs, its kind of like tuning an os, but in reverse.

Any input would be awesome, and of course greatly appreciated!

Thanks again guys
Zach

Considering a P5 xlt for Nitro Buggy, Can some one tell me what pipe and plug going to run 30%

sn47som1 10-13-2014 12:38 PM

either a Go 2072 (hard to get) a 9886 a werks 2058 on the P5

Eivind E 10-13-2014 02:42 PM

nova 2096/41001 is a very good combo for p5. 41001 for bottom end, 2096 for speed in the straight. Works a charm.

Er8sr 10-13-2014 04:40 PM

Thanks for the info guys, What plug? What kind of run times am I looking @?

jpz_67 10-13-2014 05:06 PM

Er8sr, in buggy I like the 9901/41021 combination. This setup has good bottom end but a little short on the straight. The 2096 is butter smooth, almost to smooth at times but gives the motor more top. I used a 41021 manifold with both combos. You should be able to get 10 minutes per tank in buggy pretty easy. That is with either pipe. As for plugs I like Odonnell 97t's. Good luck.

Pipes

For smaller tracks or tough to clear jumps I like the 9853ss 41001
For everything else 9886 41001 or werks 2058 with stock header.

Listed price is $20 cheaper than the price at AMain. $20 is not a lot.
