Youre positive the bearing is a 17011?

If merdith is correct thats great news , lets see for sure

Just wanna make sure its not just a blue seal front bearing instead of a 17011

Thanks. I just checked out your site. I might just have to pony up and give the "FM" version a shot.

I'm sorry I don't have it with me. It went in a Mugen for the hobby shop to sell, but I promise it was the blue seal 17011 bearing that says novarossi across the seal. I saw it with my own eyes and it was good news for sure.

They were originally blue seals, then went to cheaper blue seal bearings, then more recently they were black seals with seals on both sides of the bearing. I was like huuuh. are you kidding me, then the last p5 I installed was the 17011 bearing I've seen a few of those bearings before, my engine guy Monty recommended I use those.

BTW the Houston Tuned P5 is my all time favorite engine.

I must admit i was skeptic and in the back of my head still will be until i get one sealed in box that the p5xlt is now coming with the 17011 and It is not a mistake at the factory . Merdith sent pics , its definitely a 17011

Crazy , havent checked on pricing lately but im sure it will go up when somebody realizes what front bearing its coming with

Make sure you lube the o-ring in the block and push the carb in while twisting it. If you just push it strait in you risk damaging/tearing the oring.

Lucky 7 makes a great carb sealant that we used to use on the Picco carbs, but have not needed to use it on any nova's before.
