Any ideas? Thank you for in advance for any replies provided.
I had that happen once and if you try to get it out it could cause more problems. I say seal it up and run it. It worked for me.

Default Bearing question

I am putting new bearings in my Bonito, the new 17011 Nova bearing I have has a clear looking seal on the side that would face the inside of the engine, but the one I pulled out does not have this. Is it something I need to take out????
Thanks

I have a Btt. in running, the Btt will have a slight edge in top speed while the team has a little more bottom. Run either with a 2058, 9901, or 2096. The 2096 will give you great bottom end, top end and run time My btt with the 2096 pipe feels like an electric without the crazy wheel spin. It just squats and goes. Some guys have been talking about a 2032 pipe I believe, but they are hard to come by.

I would leave the seal on, but I know the bearing that came in my plus 4 (not a 17011 as advertised) had that seal and the 17011 I put in did not have the seal. Maybe ask over on the HES thread. Monty knows the bearings pretty good.

None of them are online, it seems weird though. I triple checked the NOVAROSSI and its a 17011. The one that came out SHOULD be a 17011...I am about to put the bearings in now, I keep leaning towards pulling this seal on the inside, as it would lube better...i dunno

Thats not a "seal" , its the ball cage

It's what keeps the balls in place. If you pull it out the bearing will fall apart.

Thanks Rob I left it in and its back together, I dont get why the one that came out did not have it and the new one did...while the other guy that replied earlier said his was vice versa and his new one did not have it....I thought it was all the 17011

Hello, someone tested the engines "Pre-Run"? How many tanks need to be ready for a race?

Thanks. Best Regards.
