That's just silly. I had a toro team that did that all the time, it is similar to the bonito. I will never buy another extra long stroke 7 port.
I don't see Novarossi putting out a bad engine..... Unless somehow, he got a defective one, which must be rare, because its the first time I've heard of one. |
True
I just had trouble with them personally. I'm not saying they are all bad, or anything other than I had trouble and I'm a pretty darn good tuner and experienced racer. I'll stick with my reliable p5 and plus-4.

never had a problem with my toro, idles all day long and is the most consistent running engine i've ever owned. My p5 is pretty reliable, but i rarely even touch a needle on my toro

i love my Toro Nero the things a raging bull just put a new front bearing in it and had to take it out of my buggy and dropped it back in my truggy the things a animal!:tire:

My 4BTT yesterday he broke the piston, and had less than 2 gallons and less than a year ...
I think I'll buy a OS 21 Speed. Best Regards. |
Good Luck with you future purchase. I'd still like to know what caused a strange breakage.
|
Best of luck with the os. You do know that novarossi makes the best micromotors in the world right? To brake a piston leads me to believe mechanical falure do to outside stress (piston locking tool or not having the piston at tdc when removing or installing rear plate)
To each his own |

The piston was broken when the engine was at low rpm. It is well that Novarossi is very good brand (I'm in the hobby 30 years ago), but I can not use an engine that lasts less than two gallons ...

never heard of a 2 gallon old Novarossi breaking anything, unless the user did something to it. Doesnt the btt have the good team piston in it too? Only pistons i've broken were the cast pistons and the engines had a dozen or more gallons on them |

What do you want for what is left? |
We will see that engine buy now. I also like the Bonito XLB or XLBS, to use Venturi 5.4mm

My Btt is just past 2 gallons and is still tight when cold and when up to temp is still hard to turn over when wearing gloves. Sorry to hear about the bad luck on your Nova, but what part of the piston broke?
|
Thank you! Is broke at the bottom (I put a photo), and the truth has much oxide with so few liters. Or is it normal that oxide?? Fuel use is the Byron 25/11, always consumption you fuel after using the engine, and put After-Run.
