That sucks! I had and engine give up on me due to a ceramic bearing and retainer ring failure.

I don't know if you guys are having any luck putting a AB mods jlr .12 red dot in a ntc3, but I am not having any luck finding a collet that fits !!! I can't find the Ofna #51525 that seems to be the part to have, and not many other options either. Some suggested the hpi 6x10mm collet (#86022), but not many folks out there have done it, and I heard it's hard to fit... I already broke my crank shaft trying to fit the AE flywheel with the picco collet, and only wished to have been warned about that issue beforehand! Why not include either the right collet or a warning notice to the customers ???? $500 down, and $200 more to go because of a $2 collet ! Hope someone answers me soon......

Just letting everyone know that i just got back from the Hospital and am on bed rest right now with 3 herniated disc.... No surgery planned just bed rest, meds and letting it heal up is the plan as of now. I did this Sunday and layed in my floor for over 9 hours unable to get up... To say it lightly it was a living hell!!! Worse pain i think ive ever felt in my life!!! And I'm hating every second of this bed rest right now guys and am determined to be up and out of it as soon as i possibly can! Will probably be down for a couple weeks if i had to guess?? I hope sooner but i honestly cant say as of right now. But rest assure i will be back up and out of this bed ASAP!!

Good to hear you're back home, and hope you get well soon. I will send you the motor in about a month or so with the correct amount for the crankshaft change, but you can take your time to fix it, no rush ! I'll never try to fix nitro engines again! Talk to you soon......

First of all thanks for the concerns and well wishes guys its much appreciated.

To answer the questions so far here we go guys.

I had back surgery 16 years ago so i already had damage/weak back to start with.

I was working on RC engines Sunday getting caught up actually when it happened. My back was already in pain from straining it working. I guess it just got weak from being tired im really not sure... I turned/moved funny something felt like it shifted and tightened up and BAM hit the ground. They tell me i need to go to physical therapy when im up to help strengthen my core to help prevent this from happening again.

I wont take narcotic pain killers so they gave injections and pill form of Toradol for the pain but im having side effects from it "sweating, stomach pain" so looks like its just Advil from now on..... Advil doesn't hardly touch the pain im in at the moment but i cant take anymore of that Toradol crap that's for sure!

The patch and pills will somewhat ease the pain but the Mineral Ice will speed up the healing for good. You need to have it massaged in three times a day with the core training . There is also that machine ”teeter hangups” that can depressurize your discs and breath new life in your back.... What worked for me was picking up my legs while hanging on a pullup bar, but I still needed the Mineral Ice on my back for at least a month before my muscles gained enough strength... I also took vitamins, protein shakes, and some soy protein for bone density in addition to the Coenzime Q10 that's necessary to absorb all of the above....
