Funny I actually liked the ugly pipe a lot! Lol its really not so bad once you put the body on! Lmao!! Anyway before I ran into nightmares for the day due to a pinhole in my gastank!!! It was really good plenty of bottom, tons of top end and my fuel mileage went through the roof!! Tough to be exact but let's just say we we're going to run a 15 minute A main and I was pitting at 12. The tank issue restricted me from finishing but I got everything taken care of for next time....oh yeah

whats the ugly pipe?

its that trinity bigboy pipe..looks a little funny, it ran awesome but at the same time i had some issues with my gas tank so i am going to get a better idea of it next time i run since now i have all my issues taken care of..
one thing is for sure i think it bumps the fuel mileage up a ton but we'll seehow it runs with no holes in my fuel tank:lol:

DPowers, I think that you will be pleased with the B5! Also as it seems you have already seen, we stand behind our products and I think that with the exception of the few people that you can never seem to make happy, jump through hoops to take care of anyone that ever has any issues with any of our products!

No problem at all using this in truggy. We've ran the B7-Pro's for ages in truggy with Kortz qualifying in the top 4 or 5 at one of the truggy nats (think it was vegas) and the B5 has a LOT stronger bottom than that engine. There will be no problem at all pushing a truggy around the track!

Not to mention Kortz is running a hyper ST Pro and as much as I love that truggy it is pretty dang heavy.

Heavy = power to the ground baby!

I am a click away from ordering this engine. I have a dynamite 086 which works like a charm with my Novarossi P5. Just wondering if the Werks B5 will have similar performance or suffer from being paired with an 086? Usually 5 port motors have great bottom end and the 086 helps to bring the top end to life.
