Stick a screw in the fuel line and submerge everything in water and blow on the pressure line. If you see bubbles anywhere you got a leak. If not then check your tune. Pull the air filter and set your slide so that the carb is open about 3/4-1mm. Set the HS needle flush and then fire it up n see how it idles. If you have a high idle richen the LS needle until it becomes smooth and steady (do the exact opposite if you have a low idle). Once you have that done put it on the track and run some laps only tuning the hs sothat you get the performance (and temp range) thAt you want. Then come back into the pit and see how it idles.... Now do not touch the idle stop screw but rather adjust the LS to get the idle you want (richening will make it slower, leaning will make it faster). Once you have adjusted your idle correctly with the LS you are done and your carb is set properly. After this if anything changes while running then there is something other than the engine/carb settings causing it. Hope this helps! Let me know what you come up with.

Ron

Ron, thanks alot for the advice and tips, your input is greatly appreciated. I replaced all my fuel lines, checked for leaks and re-tuned according to your instructions, then tuned again and am happy to say that I fixed it. I think the HS was too lean and I tried to make up for it by richening the bottom or mabe I was way off, not sure. I think the high altitude and cold outside temps are making it just a bit more difficult to find that sweet spot but now that I have it, this motor is awsome!!!!!!!! After I make a few handling adjustments I will not have any more excuses thats for sure.

Thanks again

Not a problem, some times when you get a bit off on the tune it's hard to get back lol! If it ever happens again just use the system that I suggested to get back and it should be very easy to rectify!

Also guys I'm happy to say that the new 2013 pipes and another shipment of engines showed up today and will be going out to dealers tomorrow! I'm a little backed up on PM's right now so if you sent me one int he last few days just be aware that I'm not ignoring ya, will get back to you in the next day or so!

Regards,

Ron

Not sure about the bearing sizes that the other brands that you listed use but all of our engines have 7x19 fronts and 14.2x25.3 rears. Hope this helps!

Great!!! I can't wait to try this pipe. I have been running the 053 and I believe the 2013 will increase my performance by 10%

Anyone try the Dynamite Platinum 086HS on their B5? I'm thinking of doing this combo to make my B5 be more of a MID to higher TOP delivery. Anyone have experience with it?

JUD, I'm happy to say that I just sent a shipment to a-main yesterday and they will be receiving them today. This is a shipment of fresh engines, just born last week in the outskirts of a quaint little town in Italy! I would expect their system to show in stock in a day or so but feel free to order knowing that they have some there along with the new 2010 version of the 2013 pipe if you are interested!
