Just give him a bit of time to get used to the new cars from Agama and watch what he will do! This I think is only his second race since he got their truggy and before that he had not ran one for 3-4 years.

Werks! Help!

I have a B5 that is great! But, I broke the 'Idle Stop Screw' and can't find one anywhere! I ordered one on Amain but that was over a month ago! The part number is WRXTL21160107. Any suggestions on where I can find another?

I need to get back out there!

Anyone?

Thanks to Ron for helping me get my B5 pro up and running again.

I really love this engine. You seem to get more and more runtime after getting about 2 gallons through it. Not to mention you get all the low end you can ever want.

Tried one in a buggy this weekend, and I always thought it would be too much in buggy. I have one in my truggy and it can be a handful. But I really liked it in buggy as well, but then again, I love a great bottom:D Nice mid is good, and having too much on top is overrated:D

Not a problem, glad that you are back up and running!

Which is a better "all-round" pipe - the 2013 or 2058? I don't have a Werks engine(yet), but need a pipe for a new RB Fire 11, and have heard both pipes are good on it. I guess I would get whichever fits better to other engines. I have a handfull of various brands..

From what I understand the 2013 is more for bottom end with not as good fuel mileage, whereas the 2058 is "smoother" with better mileage and maybe a better top end? Seem to see a lot of people running the 2058 on all kinds of engines...

savagesam 06-12-2012 04:11 AM

I love my 2058 pipe on each of my Werks engines, B5 Pro & B6 Pro and I also run the 2058 on the Novarossi P5 & Banito, awsome all round pipe and great run time, now with all that being said I also have the 2013 pipe and only ever put it on the B5 from time to time if I want that extra bottom end grunt from the engine

Herrsavage 06-12-2012 04:20 AM

Cool, thanks.. So 2058 then..

savagesam 06-12-2012 04:34 AM

yeah got five 2058's and only one 2013, one 9886, one 0801

Herrsavage 06-12-2012 06:53 AM

How do you like the 0801 as an allrounder? Love mine on the one engine I've tried it on.. Anything like the 2058?

Just follow the directions in our break in instructions in the first post on this thread. You are going to find that our engines are some of the easiest motors to break in out there! If you have any questions once you get started please do not hesitate to ask:nod:

Quick question about your provided break in procedure.

Are you preheating the engine before starting it every time?

Always thought this was key but didn't read it in the procedure

Thanks

Like Ron mentioned, check out the first post.

Something I experienced and it may not apply to all is that my engine was easier to tune and runs better with the Byrons 3000 9% oil and a Werks #5 plug. You can break it in with the 11% oil, but after break in, if you are finding that it may be a little finicky, try 9% oil.

Like I said, may not apply to all, but just found 9% to run a little cleaner.
