EB Mods JS Engine
#676
my engine died this weekend. during a main on a muddy track something stopped flywheel on the spot after landing a double and hitting the throttle for the next one. conrod snapped at the strongest spot. either too much mud or I hit a rock. poor engine. everyone was amazed with it.
will pick up a new one on my US trip next week. will try race prep this time so I can compare and it it is too harsh for a buggy i will be back in the US in June to get a full mod again
one question - when I took the engine apart to see what went wrong I noticed lot of dirt between the crankcase and head button. Is it because of shimming for 30% nitro leaves there a small gap?

the track was awesome all day, and held up really well considering we had 154 entries.. My Truck was awesome too! =) check out the layout.

I managed to work my way to second place on the last lap after being punted to the fluff in the first corner which put me dead last.
the 10+ min pits really helped!

Barnstormers is in NY. The racing schedule hasn't been released yet, but there will deff be more large events there throughout the season. IDK if you met Chris Sytsma before but him and his Dad Lou run the place. check the website cause they're supposed to post the schedule this week. http://www.barnstormersrc.com/
hope you can make it up for a race!
