thanks joe. i have been running the race prep for a few weeks now and love it. i am just a little heavy on the trigger though and heard that the full mod was smoother on the bottom so i thought i would give it a try. can't wait to put these motors to the test outdoors!!

IDK about the FM being any smoother, but it'll certainly spool faster and rev higher.. LMK what you think.

Default Short or long header

some of the team guys are running the NR 9901 with a short header and getting great results too. also P5 plug and 7mm stack.
Hi',

Would you also recommend the short header for truggy. I'm running the full mod and will be ordering the NR 9901 pipe. Was wondering whether the long header (better bottom) is needed to compensate for the truggys extra weight.

ballistic. My JS and buddy's Full mod by ED ninja were probably the fastest motors on the track this weekend. Track has very long straights and it was just so easy to catch buggy 50 feet in front of me.

9901 pipe with short header 10:15 on a tank which is not bad considering lot of long straights.

I had to use OD97t as I just could not find any P5 in my pit bag and engine started to behave bit strange with P4 during longer continuous runs. (i never had issues switching between P5 and Od97T in my previous full mod ninjas)

well, had my first race with the full mod. motor was very strong. during practice i could feel it spool up faster than the race prep, but it did seem just a tad smoother coming out the gate. then i had some glo issues. found that the silicone used in the crank had come loose!! cleaned out all the debris anda fter that the full mod was a rocket. it hit so hard and fast that i had trouble controlling it. hopefully i can get the motor taken care of soon so i can get it back for our first pro-series race in 2 weeks. overall i love the js engines.

i saw a full mod at the track yesterday in a mbx6 buggy..it certainly moved down the track with authority...it seemed very smooth as well, as there was minimal wheel spin on a slick track..it was a rocket

mine ran yesterday for 3 tanks straight 3
separate times,(90 mins + total).. idles awesome and runs awesome!

I ran a 2041 pipe in my truck and got 12mins to a tank. =D Chad P
was averaging about 11 mins in buggy with a couple different pipes he
tried, and traction was rather low with excessive wheel spin. also the track had 2 straights, 1 like 175' and the other like 100'

My buddy went through all his 97t's yesterday. Gave him a OS P5 and it quit popping glow plugs. I have JS, Nova, RB, JP and OS engines and all of them use P4's or P5's without ever having a glowplug issue. Can't remember the last time i had a plug failure.
