So far JS Racing engines are having a very good showing at the 2011 Nitro Challenge, with Trevor Clement putting the .23 Hellfire in the Pro Truggy A-Main, Trevor bumped from the B to the A by only pitting once

Chris Wheeler was in the Pro Truggy B-Main and did one lap before hitting the pole under the cross-over, taking him out of the race. Damn Pole

My JS ran great in my truggy at Motorama. I use it with a Dynamite 086 pipe and header. Run time was outstanding! After my 7min main I had better than a 1/4 tank left, probably could have gone 10mins easy. Now if my driving was half as good as the engine was, I would have faired much better on Sunday. I guess that's what happens when you don't drive for almost 2 months prior to such an event.

Thanks again Ed for such a great engine and great product support.

I'm working aggressively with an American Factory to make our own Glow Plugs, I hope to have these available by the end of the month.

Stay tuned for more info and the chance to receive free samples for testing

Through out 2011 EBMods will be releasing an American Made line of products. Glow plugs are next on the list, to be followed by clutches. CAD Drawings are complete on the clutches and I'm awaiting on samples to arrive to send to team guys for testing.

Hey Jason, I sure hope so. Only time will tell. Going to start off with some basic 3 and 4 shoe designs. I have lots of ideas, but for now the plan is K.I.S.S

I just got my race prepped TX-521R .21 engine and have a few questions.

When this engine was broken in at EBMods with the turbo combustion head that came with the engine or was the turbo plug head replaced with a new one before it was packed and shipped? Reason I ask is - I have at least 25 new O'Donnell 97T and 99T glow plugs that I would like to use in this engine, but need to know if the button's plug threads are already "cut" to fit an OS plug.

Also, where can I buy or what other engine company's venturi's fit the TX-521R's carb? I'd like to pick up a 6.0mm and 6.5mm venturi to try in this engine.

Thanks.

3 and 4 shoe will be available. The clutch is still a few months out. The plan for this month is to finish the glow plugs and get samples out to racers for testing.

Head Buttons aren't changed after break-in.

Not really sure about the glow plug threads being different? The only difference I've found is the angle of the seat area at the base of the plug stem. This is very minimal, and not that critical if you always use the same plug brand. Only if you switch back and forth between plugs that use different seat area will this cause the inside of the button to deform and push in.

OS , Novarossi will work. Please don't chock the engine out to much. Carb inserts more or less just change carb response. If you actually get to the point that you decrease to much air you will lose lubrication.
