Sure! On a previous message from I've posted some photos of the innards of Sti's... Just check this:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showpost...postcount=1201

Regarding Ninjas.... got tired of awaiting them (as all the people we're waiting in vain since Jan... needed race engines and decided for a pair of Sti's). Time will tell us how good and how perform. Meanwhile I'll use what I have and race it, time will arrive for bothering about Ninjas.

Regarding Megas... frankly... I don't use them, never had a great interest on them, could be great performers, but... haven't tested nor can I talk about a thing I haven't tried. Tried, used and raced Novas, RB's, Sirios, JP's and I'm thinking on getting an OS Speed TZ, just for testing it, but haven't decided at all.

I started to break-in the Sti and until now (2 litres of fuel) the engine still needs further break-in. Seen one with the break-in finished (5 litres) and the engine feels more powerful, not much as the stock one but more powerful in all (low, med and high rpms).

I'm using the Sirio pipe (Evo2 pipe) and looks good and very promising. This weekend I'll see if I can finish the break-in and start to lean it as they deserves it.

Sorr, but I'm not quite understanding your sentence "not much as the stock one...". Can you explain a little more?

Dom

Sorry for the mistake, what really wanted to say is the Sti is a little more powerful than the stock one, but what really differences to the stock is the Sti feels more full in all the powerband (has a little more power in all the powerband without 'holes').

Where can I purchase the sti engine??

maskedrider 04-28-2006 12:43 AM

what the different/ performance between a 3port and a 5port ? I stuck in getting either one..

ae_ntc3 04-28-2006 02:29 AM

i always get 3 port because its legal here in australia. between them there might be a slight performance gain in the 5 port but a well tuned 3 port wouldnt let you down!!

the performance of the sti 3port will be good enough that there's no need to get the 5 port, 3ports are more fuel efficient than 5 ports :D :D :D

Nope... is the 'old' Evo2 pipe... got this because a friend handed me one NIB and the Evo3 pipe was in backorder on my LHS, today have the Evo3 pipe, this weekend I'll end the break-in and test the new pipe.
