Congratulation Monty awesome run in the A-main 3rd place is very commendable. Being able to watch liveRC from Korea was awesome. Can't wait to get back home and run your motor. I'll be at the DNC next year I haven't been since 2008.

Actually, because of newly enforced technicalities, Houston WON!

Lille-bror 02-23-2014 10:22 PM

Nice driving Monty!

I saw Monty's post on Facebook and it said 1st place and he was holding the first place trophy, what technicalities were enforced? Either way, Monty was wheeling it! Good job and congrats on the win!

Top 2 were Dq'd due to not abiding by the rules that have been set out like this for a good few years. In previous year's it wasn't enforced. Well this year it sure was.

PS Awesome run Monty.

Great run Monty! Yeah Top 2 got DQ'd for having chassis sponsors from what I heard.

I love rc cars

Congrats Monty! I have a older Lightning, so does it have the 14mm crank?

Frank L 02-24-2014 03:33 PM

Nice job Monty that's one hard spot to fill. You earned it
Your engine was very impressive, power and runtime. That track was a horsepower fuel burning monster...
Also thanks for your help with my engine issue. See to next year.

I have...sort of. Put a set in a box stock P5 for a buddy of mine and they did not last very long. This does not take anything away from their chassis bearings which I swear by and have done so for many years.

Oh and CONGRATS MONTY on the win at DNC!

Oh and CONGRATS MONTY on the win at DNC!

I looked at the Protek bearings, they look like rebadged Boca Bearings. Any experience with them.
