No worries man. Think of it as a way to get me into that Fusion X3 lightning faster. Talked it over with the wifey and we will be ordering one pretty quickly. Hopefully I will be able to show these Vietnamese boys what a "Huston Tuned" engine is all about. About to finish breaking in my 2012 5 port Orion engine I figure I will run it on the Losi then put the Nvision on the Mugen and save the Fusion for races. I also just placed an order for the 34 mm Buku clutch from your website, let me know if there is any problems with the order or any shipping address questions. Having it shipped in my wifes name so it clears customs quicker. I have also talked with the local hobby shop guy I am good friends with about getting in some of your engines, pm me if you can make any price breaks for larger quantities ordered, these will be stock engines in the Fusion line with no mods, he will probably order quite a few. It seems in Vietnam that what ever I run everyone follows, they seen my Nvision at the last race and how it never flamed out so now they want it (they forgot that everyone called it a crap engine when I first got it) The same way with my Losi, I think I have about 30% of the people switched from Mugen or x-ray to Losi now :sneaky:

Monty,
Thanks for the help with my fuel question the other day. My Plus 4 ran perfect yesterday. Not a single issue and in practice I got 11:23 to just about empty. I shut down the motor and only fuel that was left was in the line. That's with the 2058 pipe, can't wait to order up a 2096 and new header soon and let this bad boy rip! |
Monty, Pm sent

I have some cranks out of P5s and some Plus 4s and I'm wanting to build up a decent practice motor. How can I tell the difference between the cranks? I have no idea which one came out of what motor. If I end up with a P5 crank in a Plus4, would there be any real difference in performance?
Thanks |
wow
Thank you Monty for an Great mill. I have about 9 tanks through my H.E.S. Tuned P5XLT it is SO smooooooth and purrs like a Tiger in heat...! :D It ran flawless! I still haven't let it loose. I was afraid to hurt it. But I got a Call from Houston on Saturday. (He was callling to Make sure his customer was happy.) STELLER Service Monty!!! And I was told to let her rip. SO the next time I will try to. I'm new and learning how to tune my engine. Thank's to Captin Awesome (Randy G.) And Houston. Thank you Guys. And its nice to know I can call or text you WHENEVER I need/ want to!!! Keep up the wonderful work!

For this track what engine would you recommend with the Full Monty of course ;) I ran my 5 port Nvision and placed 3rd in b-main out of 12 cars, when I drive calm I did much better. I was 4 laps out of first and on the same lap as second only 20 seconds behind. The Nvision ran great but I can't seem to get the power out of it that I could with my Cody King that can't run consistently. I am looking at either one of the Nova engines or one of the Fusion engines you sell. Also if possible could I send in the Cody King engine when I order a new engine and have you take a look and see if it is just me or IF something is actually wrong, maybe something happened during break in that I didn't catch or something. |

OH MY STARS!!! :D:blush:

It does have good power, not really complaining about it but rather comparing it to the other 5 port I have. I know Nvision and Orion are different engines, but they are designed by the same designer and from what I have heard they are mirrored copies one designed for the European market while the other for the US market. Until the Cody Kind stalls there is no comparison between the two and even with my personal lap counter there is a clear difference between them. As far as power I have plenty to get over all the jumps with ease but the wheel spinning rock slinging power is clearly absent.
Like I said though with the crappy customer service from Orion I think it is time to change brands and try something new and as always I see that you are one of the best in regards to customer service. Here in Vietnam that is really important, heck I bought 2 Orion servo's a while back, put them on IN the shop I bought them at, fired it up and one was bad, the hobby shop guy tried to get ME to send them back to Orion and he couldn't even give me any addresses or emails to even get in contact with them. Granted he is a great guy but with anything that needs fixed he doesn't help out. I had 2 Hitech servos go out in a month with less than 6 hours on them, and they have a 2 year warranty, he wouldn't help at all, accept for giving me a copy of the original receipt and that took 2 weeks! So basically I have decided to quit buying anything that might have issues from Vietnam, not like I am expecting free engines or servos, but someone to at least look and tell me what I did wrong would be nice so that I don't make the same mistake again if ya know what I mean. So which would be better the p5 or the x3 with a full monty? Most of our tracks are about that size and a friend from the US said to get a Werks b2 so I think I will try one and then I want to try one of yours as well. My preference is more power is better but I do know that a 7 port is WAAAYYYY to much power for their tracks (I already have an Orion 7 port) But I have 2 buggies and 1 truggy and the one thing I really don't have a spare/backup race engine and a play engine |

i have a 3 port crf orion that has maybe 1.5 gallons on it and it has 2 hairline cracks in the case. I will never own another orion. It also doesnt have very much compression left. Their engines run good but i think they have a few design flaws. The other 5 port i have is still running good. I am pretty sure it wasnt me but the quality.
Thats crazy chase! |

Monty, got the email about the clutch shipping out from paypal, thanks for getting it handled. Also the x5 sounds like my best bet and I want you to work your magic on it. Any suggested setups with the Buku clutch? |
