Huston, good call on the carb, I broke it down last night and blew through the exhaust line and the fuel didn't look all that clean, I also pulled all the seats out and sprayed them down, when I took the carb out I noticed one of the orings that hold the carb into place was cut so I replaced it with the one from my 7 port for the time being, got it all put back together set it back to flush and started it up, no bubbles in the line, haven't tried it out on the track yet but will Saturday for sure and slap a race tune on it and see from there, but in the fuel I caught there were a few dark specks in it. Where can a guy order those o-rings? Being in Vietnam it is kinda a pain ordering such a small part from Horizon or a-main. Still trying to talk the wife into a nova for play from your shop, they sell them here but they are straight out of the box, wantin to try a huston tuned model with a filled crank. What about a full break in do you offer that?

I'm happy to say my plus 21-4 team c is a solid motor. Very smooth and plenty of low and mid range and acceptable top end. I'm not regretting switching over from os a big thanks to Monty for all of the help!

Thanks Huston! I posted a link to your website on the local Vietnam rc board, hopefully some will reply, they love their Nova and OS engines here but they only know stock with no way to modify them.

Thanks again for all your help

if you want INSANE power in the buggy and awesome power in truggy use a FUSION X7 "FM"

we got a pretty good line up actually , nice mills , decent pricing , i am very happy , will be pretty happy when we get the X5 lightning going also , might be pretty close in price to the X7 though , the X5 RACE is an awesome engine as well is the X3 RACE , pricing is great on them so i am surprised they havent sold faster than they are

u guys know when i say that a product is good its not just bullshit

I will take a sample X5 Lightening FM. I have the earlier version from a couple years ago. You know what I mean.

Was one of your favorite engines. Well the 7 port version was your favorite of that line. Great engines.

It is not a 5+2 design , jp racing got exclusive rights to that sleeve setup but the piston is something special

I am all for insane power but I am still a noob and I can barely get traction with my 5 port Orion that has 2.8 advertised HP and when I ran my 7 port orion I was ALL over the place! Our tracks are too small in Vietnam for huge power I am starting to think, at least with the off road tracks, they also race buggy on road and I love my 7 port for those races, and with the 2058 pipe I have insane top end and no one touches me on the straights, but my wrecks on the turns allows them to catch and pass me! Still haven't finished last though I keep telling myself that with the extra power I can gain back from my mistakes on the straights which I do, I gained 1/2 lap back from a donky flip today. Traction is my issue right now, tried the Losi 4 shoe and the Mugen 3 shoe sooner or later I will get it figured out though. Today 3 people asked me about your website at the track, maybe I can talk my wife into an engine sooner rather than later and once they see it then it can speak for itself.

I'm guessing you found something very special though. You weren't born yesterday.
