Default Bonito Help.

Monty I need a little help.

I have a new Bonito with about a gallon and a half through it and I was at the track Fri and it lost its mechanical pinch finally. I always at very least heat it with a comp heat before running and if at rest for more than 20-30 min will heat again.

I was having allot of flame out toward the end of the day, even at temps (avg about 220-235 if I stopped for a few min or refueled I would blow it out well and all making sure it was at temp but would pull on the track and flame out, would keep happening several times but once I DID get it going it would run like a CHAMP. Any advise??? Its the bonito with ceramic rear, I have not tore it apart at all since I have had it (a month)
THANKS
Jason

going off your explanation which doesnt really elude to how the tune is the first thing i would say is clutch and/or clutchbell bearings Jason

hope this helps

get back to me with pipe/plug/clutch/needle settings/fuel/car/etc. etc.

Sorry I was a little lite of info. 8t2.0 Bonito/41021 manifold/9901pipe/C6TGC plug/Byrons 2 gen Pro 30-9%/TLR prebuilt Alum clutch (green on plastic gold on Alum)/ HSN BAIRLY in from flush/LSN flush to 1-2 hour out from flush/again factory shims cause have not pulled apart/DC metro area(dont know altitude)

The clutch DID lock up on me on this day, the big bearing was ON THERE and I mean ON there, shoes looked ok so replaced bearings and after my first 2 tanks went back to the flame outs. Only happened (even though up to temps) when it rested for a few min or refueled, would have to start SEVERAL times, blow out HARD and get it going and it would go back to running like a scalded dog LOVE it running like that.
I REALLY appreciate your help and advise!!!!! you are +1000* when it comes to helping people and that is just awesome!!
Thanks Again

Outside temps? engine temp?

Your probly just the classic leaner on top , too rich on the bottom
check out the burnard derand tuning video in the tuning bible bro

richen top a little , get engine fully up to temp , lean lsn until idle is consistent lower idle until you get a nice comfortable idle , not too low , go out on the track and finish hsn dialing in

Also if its colder out put a c5tgc in it

most torque
9853ss/41021 , smooths out with 41005 , 41001 or 41019
2084ss/41021 (same as above)
2096ss/41021 (very nice combo!!)
9901ss/41021 (most preferred) bonito use 9901ss/41021 0r 41020
9886/41021 violent powerband and most top
least torque most rpm

mugen header equivalent 41021=41029 , 41020=41030

lmk if you need anything else

recommend c5tgc for up to 75-85° and c6tgc above these temps

hope this helps
