houston/monty,

do you know the thickness of the shims that come on the n21bf limited ? I am switching to byrons gen 2 25% and Im wondering if it will be ok as it is. I think you have said it needs to be .70, is this correct ? also, I ordered some odonnel plugs instead of the dynamite plat. series.

as far as shimming goes , it doesn't NEED to be any certain shimming and the engines will pretty much run on anything but for proper performance the stock shimming is just fine for 25% gen2 .

bf is shimmed with two .30 alu. , one .10 copper

phoenix357 05-18-2009 06:59 PM

bf21 comes shimed stock to run 25%

if a customer requests having their sleeve set resized i use raya racing . ray is the best in the biz period . there is many more things to be looked at besides just resizing the sleeve . i do replace bearings , rods and the like though . it takes a little while longer if there is a resize involved , ray is pretty quick though

Mr. Monty, say I had two Plus-21 5's to send you for some re-work. What do I need to know to get the engines to you? Also how do I let YOU know my requests? Do I write a note and leave it in the box? Or do I email tracking numbers along with my request? Just finding out what I should know before-hand.

Thanx
chris
