Hey Monty
Is there a turbo equivalent to the mc8? The mc8 works miracles in all my nova engines. Dynamite makes a medium #7 turbo plug is this any good or should I try an Odonnell? I tried the nova standard #6 and #7 they are either too hot or too cold. The mc8 hits the sweet spot IMHO. Thanks |
No, thank you Monty. You have been very helpful with all my questions. You have earned my business just by the way you handle yourself. I cant wait until its plus 4 time so I can try a Houston engine. Thanks again, Lee

I tried the standard OD #99 and #77 they are kinda like the nova #7 and #6
respectively, but it's been awhile ago. I'll take another look at them. I'm kinda thinking it's a fuel, manifold and pipe thing. I running a 21-5k, 9886,41021 and OD 25%. I have a nova 21-7fms and looklng for a turbo plug like the mc8. One more thing Monty. What kind of after-run-oil do you use with a silicone filled crank. Thanks |

Had a question. Just ran my axe rossi cobra for the first time. It was recently rebuilt new p/s/con. Was also broke in from an expert. It ran rich with a lot of smoke and bogged down a lot. No top end. I had a little smoke in the gas tank. Is this normal? Any help would be appreciated. The fuel was tq 30 and i have had it since last fall.

Hey Monty,
Just picked up my Plus4 and Ofna 053 yesterday. Pipe wise (I know the header's different) the Dynamite and Ofna are identical correct? Reason I'm asking is I'm not too thrilled about the long un-reinforced stinger on the Ofna one. I'm also guessing that cutting a stinger would change the backpressure on the pipe? One last question, have you and anyone you know ever tried to add reinforcing to a pipe with some metal and JB Weld? If so does it hold up? |
