Hey Monty,

we started our season this past weekend with the 1st round of the National Kuwaiti league. The Weather was amazing with a blue sky and 17C temp

Quals went great and i managed to TQ both classes, the Truggy Final went super smooth and i had the lead from start to finish

your P5XLT was amazing paired with a 2096 pipe and a 7mm venturi, tons of power, great run time and very consistant

thanks Bro

Ali

Well i finaly got a chance to race with the p5xlt you built for me yeserday and i must say im impressed. My tune was way off and i was finishing up the break in. I had alot of people asking what I had done to it and said it was very quite but fast going down the straight.Funny thing is,i wasnt even 3/4 throttle down the str8 and didnt have any problems from getting passed lol.Well today I went out in the yard and put a better tune on the low end and got rid of a 3 stage idle, then tuned the top some but not to much since I wasnt on a track. All I can say is everybody better watch out next week because she isnt quite anymore lol.Oh yea and i dropped in a 7.5 vent..This engine rips hard!!!

Hey Broz, Monty and Chris

well the buggy qual went amazing and my car (MP9) is amazing, sorry Chris but am running my Kyosho buggy this time and the Losi.

i had a clutch issue and spent the break time before the final fixing it and small other things, didnt have enough time to recheck all my screws!!

A-main started and i pull from pole, in lap 3, i was already half a lap ahead of the field but bad luck striked as a front spindle screw came loose and the shaft popped out!! it took the ''new marshal'' about 2 minutes to understand that the car isnt running properly, back to the pits, pitman not sure whats wrong, i came down, looked, brought a screw, put it back together, checked the screen and all the fast guys were 6-7 laps ahead!!

i decided to stop because its almost impossible to finish in the top 3, i will push really hard and might cause issues for the guys without problems, i thought the track with one less car is better for the other guys who still have a chance to battle for the podium

Monty, on your BTT and MP9, whats your clutch set-up ???

cheers

Ali

Standard mp9 clutch setup for me is 34mm flywheel , 2 x 6061 (blue) shoes and 1 x 7075 shoe with all kyosho 1.0mm springs

When I use werks clutch in buggy its 34mm with all aluminum 2x 1.0mm and 2 x .90mm or 2xaluminum with 1.0 and 2 x carbon shoes with .9mm
