that's terrible....I hate hearing about people being ripped off......every used engine I have ever sold I have been 100% honest with the condition of it....sorry to hear that man...good luck in getting it restored and running again bro.

I have bought a lot of motors used like this. This is the first one i got screwed on. I have 2 FMS motors right now, in my buggy and sc8, and they run great, no problems with them at all. Problem on this motor was seller got it from a "good friend" that swears the motor had a new p/s/r in it and was in great shape when he sold it to me. Hind sight is always 20/20, but it is partly my fault for not totally checking it out when i got it. I trusted him and got screwed. Won't happen again, and i really doubt i will ever buy another used motor.

I was really going to buy some 50% fuel and blow this thing to bits, but think i will just toss it on ebay for a parts motor, carb and case are good at lease.

Anyway, water under the bridge now.

Also I know the new ninja jx21 series are OS based these parts don't work in the mr21 right?

bottom line lesson learned

its different if you buy an engine from one of us engine guys , we have reputations that we try not to tarnish

first break-in session went good...I got three tanks of heat cycles through it....I should be able to finish it up tomorrow as I have more free time than today....I'll keep you posted.

I got my motor and heater today Monty! You're right! Something must have hitched up shipping speed. I was expecting it on Monday. No big deal! I was just a tad bit overanxious anyway. Thanks for checking the innards of the motor for me before shipping it. Heat cycling it now with my new heater!
