OK Monty, ready to get a engine for my truggy. Which one: 21FMS or Toro Nero ? Everybody I have asked on various forums say the FMS and I will be happy. The track is medium size, short run ups to jumps, and 5 tight turns with 1 huge like 30 ft, sweeper and another big wide turn. So what do you think? I would like 8min. runtime atleast.
And anybody else with 1st hand knowledge of these 2 engines please chime-in
TIA Joe

The FMS does has some crazy power for sure . Are you not getting all those things out of your 5k ? If clutched properly and reshimmed to .70 mm the toro nero is also a very powerful engine . I would pick the p5xl or xlt as I love the 5 port design and the engine is adjustable in so many ways . You can clutch , pipe , plug and gear them in many ways and they can take the punishment while still making killer power .

Just my 2 cents

you should definitely get more than 8min. of runtime , does it have a 6.5mm restrictor ? or 7mm?

6.5, and like I said it's really rich, gonna lean it out tuesday night and see how it does. I am almost scared to mess with it, it runs so good now,
Later Bro.

you will get much longer life running engine at 85% of its full potential , you must first push it to 100% to find out where 85% is though
