i wish i could go to all the races but i have to pick and choose only a few a year and keep the radio in my hand through supporting the good local tracks that we do have around here :)

Hey Monty!

I'm wondering what tracks are local to you. I'm in Wa on the Olympic Peninsula. Portland is about 4 hrs down 101 for me. I'd like to bring my son out to see a few REAL tracks with good drivers. We have Area 52 on the other side of the pond but I'd like to bring him out to a few different ones in the region.

I'm a resurrected racer from back in the Bear Creek days here in Wa. I'm back with my 10 year old son doing club stuff on the 8ight and 8ight-Ts. My son's on the Mach454/Picco carb/RE11 running sweet and I'm checkin out a Go 25 5-port in my 8t and an older Ninja MR21 in the 8. I ran OS and RB back in the day...mostly because the Nova I bought was just too darned hot for my xxx-nt. It's bottom was just too sick. I'd like to check out the Plus 4 if this Go Tech doesn't pan out.

Anyway, hope to meet you one of these days.

hi monty on the plus 4c looking at the pic of the tuned crankshaft can you tell if it is done like the modders do im quessing this is were the improved throttle responce and run time come from. what run time increases can i expect from the plus 4 as the modders usually find 1 or 2 mins is the 4c gonna be the same. i quess the ceramics will help also the run time

The reason i ask is at the last round of the UK nationals the top novarossi driver was pitting at 8mins on quite a big track using plus 4 9901 41021 and a 6.5 venturi and the top 2 Os speed drivers were getting 10mins each

from what i have heard how is adam drake getting 13 odd mins

any feedback would be great help

I have a tuned .21 GRP that ate a glow plug coil. Do you have any interest in a franken mod of some sort to squeeze a backup motor from it? P/S is toast and the rod needs a look over by a pro. Anyway, if something can be done reasonable, i'll try it out, if not and one of our modders want it they can have it in hopes I can save some pennies on my next mill. I am throwing this out to all of you modders. Sorry if I am wasting your time.
