Hi, Someone can help me in a doubt
I have an Team orion CRF ABI 5 PORT, I have read here that the best pipes are 2058...or 2013 so my engine came with 2057 pipe , and also comes with the header/pipe extension , i just used one time, i choosed to run with the extension just because i read here that this pipe doesnt have to much botton end power so due this i used the extension to longer the pipe and have more botton end power, its the better way to use this pipe? with the extension? , just asking again because i have read here about the lack of power from 2057 and nobody says about using or not using the extension, Or using the extension fix the lack of power from botton end?, what the difference from this pipe "2057" to 2013, i have a bad one pipe? this pipe has more fuel milage than others? Thanks for the help |

If I was running a 2057, and had the extension I would use it no doubt about it.. SO yeah your better off running the extension with that pipe, IMO..
Will the 2013 or 2058 its sooooooo better? than 2057 with extension like you told me to use , what are the advantages replacing for 2013 or 2058? run time? power? just asking to see if i really need to buy another pipe,i am a racer , not for bashing ok Thanks again |

Pitpop,
Is there a current replacement piston/sleeve for the Cody King edition engine? Just trying to figure out the difference from this engine to the current 5-port. Thanks, Mike Jackson |

Considering the engine isn't even out yet in the US (june arrival on Horizon), it's hard to say if there is a replacement piston sleeve. The sleeve on the WC edition engines is slightly different, I'm sure of that. Just very mild port arrangement changes. I don't have much to compare, as I never had a Truhe edition, nor do I have a Discovery right now. Also, the P/S that we get from Adrien are always different, so for me it's like a box of chocolates. If I can discover anything profound, I will let you know. I see Horizon doesn't even have a 5 port sleeve for sale on the site. I'm surprised by that.

Yeah thanks Paul. Are you guys running the WC engine in truggy? I have been running the CRF Alpha ABI 3-port with ceramic and love it in both MP9 and STRR but just ordered the 7-port for truggy to give it a try.

We are running the WC engine in truggy. I think the 7 port is a very nice fit to the truggy. I can't even tell you how happy I am with the King edition engine (and not because the name on it ). We put these engines in at Nitro Challenge (Feb) and have been running the snot out of them since then. It's like the energizer bunny, especially the buggy engine! Even when I switch and decide to test something, we go back to the NC engine. We have pumped so much fuel through that thing in the most unfriendly and heinous manner, and it still runs like a clock. Just amazing the durability of the engine. I know it sounds like the "sponsored driver gushing about the company products", but I have to tell someone. I'm just so pleased and impressed, especially considering Cody's name is associated with it. :D
