I have had a few RBs. I had 2 S7's one was an ab mods I got 13 gallons on and sold it to a friend, other was stock and got 15 gallons before a piece of the piston skirt broke off and scared up everything inside. I have a c5 with 12 gallons and another I bought used for $50 with an unknown amount that both still run strong. I have a RB mods C6 that has 9 gallons, I just put new bearings, turbo head, and con rod that still runs strong as hell. Got a short vid of when I tested it out so you can see how strong it runs. Rb's quality is great, every one I have had has lasted forever and been a breeze to tune.

Understand that I wasn't putting a race tune on the mill in the video. After putting new bearings and con rod I raise the idle so it can idle a tank at temps before I run it. After that I give it a hard run just to make sure it runs good. Ending temp was 220 running O'donnells 30% and medium plug. Only reason I took the video was I got a new palm phone that uploads directly to youtube and wanted to test it out. What sounds like a lean motor is acctually the idle gap to big from when I let it set for a tank and lowspeed was a little rich.

Lean out the LSN like 1/4 turn, if it shuts off as soon as you pull off the plug lighter it's either super rich or the glowplug is bad. You may want to also lean out the HSN 1/4 turn as well.

Brian said he had to let off the throttle midway down the straight cuz it was already carrying so much speed. I have the 2045/192 pipe combo on it and it's so quiet it's hard to believe how fast it is. It's easily getting over 10 min a tank with a 8mm insert. It really shines down low to mid range in the power but the topend is stellar and never ending. Can't wait to try it in my truggy.

If your running a standard C6/B9/B10 in a truggy you really probably want the 198 header rather than the 192 so you can get the extra bottom end for a truck. The C6USA has a lot more low end power so it can use the 192 header no problem.

No the C6 USA was a limited production run engine. Shame it's not made anymore.

Looking at getting an RB engine for buggy, I had great luck with them in the past, but have some questions, is the Killer 9/Killer 10 a decent engine, I know these are no longer nova based, or is there another recomondation for a decent RB engine at a price less than $250
