fanboi.. funny word.. Makes me think I'm like 14 all over again at a comic con.

Actually read my sig.. doesn't say anything about RB in it does it, and like I said I posted this after reading the entire thread..

If anything I'm on the OS kick right now, but was looking into the new RB line because of the fact that Brian is almost local to me and my LHS gets orders in a little faster because of the fact they aren't going that far once they reach Brian.

I was actually more or less sticking up for a fellow Texan.. We don't treat people like ass down here in the south we have respect for others, and as Aaron Joy said.. I've had no issue and sold over 12 RB products recently and just ordered more with Brian..

Seems to me that everyone having an issue doesn't own an LHS or goto an LHS that has signed up with Brian for a dealer account. He doesn't just sell engines to any racer calling in. It's not cost effective.

Read a post throughly and try to actually process what I said instead of thinking I'm directing a comment at you.

Funny thing about the Texas comment since I'm from Austin.

Local shop I spoke with IS an RB dealer and still made the comments that I posted so that negates you thinking it is just an issue with individual racers trying to get parts/motors.

He has been great to the shop I work at. Since the new line has come out I have recieved and sold about 12 new "9" series along with parts, plugs, etc. I even recieved a "Hobby 9" that came off backorder just last week. I just placed another nice size order after speaking to him on the phone. No problems here!

I was told they should be coming in this week, (Killer 9) and shipping next week to shops that ordered them.
I sent an email to www.rb-usa.com over a month ago and have not gotten an answer yet. Got some questions I'd like answered too.

1 man.. Tons of E-Mail... do the math easy to be overlooked.

Send it again.

Anyone ever tried to follow up. Once you have E-Mailed him once a week for a month you would have a valid point that he doesn't answer anyone.

Between spam, orders, and any other E-Mail that may come to that 1 account I can see how easy it is for him to overlook an E-Mail and not respond.

At least put more effort into it and send more then one message. If you haven't already.

The website even has the address for the Texas location. Send him a certified letter if you have to then once you get a receipt back you know he has received it. If you get no response then I can fully see anyone being upset and wanting to flame away.

I started all of this because I AM a Dealer NOT the end user. Since everything was set up I have recieved stuff I ordered from Brian for my customers. It was the 2 engines I ordered for customers that I got screwed around on. I was told that they were in the mail and guess what......still no motors!!!! My customers got increasingly angry with me, then they decided no more RB! I spent a month trying to get some kind if answer and again guess what......still no answer! I'm sure he hadn't had the flu for a month! I went as far as to call Amain to see if they could help, after 1 week the guy I spoke with called me back and said they couldn't get ahold of him either! WOW even a huge hs like Amain???????

I did take the liberty of emailing their main office with my problem and a link to this thread. They promply responded with apologies and a statement that said basically they were not suprised. I was also told to go through them from now on!

I love the RB brand, my WS7 rocks! But no service and support = another brand!

Hi everyone.

I have an Inferno MP7.5 which is only used as a BMX track basher. The current Nova .21 motors life span is up. Im looking to fit either the RT9 or WS7.

Which motor out of the two would be more powerful?

Secondly I need clarification. The RT9 on the official site gives item #01909-000222.
Ive seen some RB truggy engines with item #RBC01900-000222.
What are the differences with these two motors?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Chris doesn't look like you got an answer... I have the same question, why does the Rally 9 which has a lot of the WS9 features cost about the same as the Hobby 9?

Hello,
I would say go with the RT9 with the pipe combo. That pipe is awesome looking, it looks like a small baseball bat. LOL I sold one a the shop I work and I waiting for the customer to bring it around so I hear that pipe.
The two numbers you listed are the same engines, the letters on the front of the one are from Amainhobbies and are used for the stock numbers.

My junior9 has been running great, its keeping up with more expensive engines on this small/medium track!

One thing, its running around 260 280 with the stock glowplug(medium) I've heard that rb's run alittle hot compaired to other engines. Do u think I should run it alittle rich or get a colder plug. The performance of the engine seems go be doing good and it "sounds" like I can lean it further and there is still lots of good smoke but not too sure at this point.

This would be the first time running RB. What do you guys think of the WS9? Also, what would be a good pipe to run with that motor. Would it be good in a losi 8ight b and t 2.0? i would be getting 2.

What are you running it with? (pipe, nitro%, clutch). My C6 has been running anywhere from 230-260. There are so many variables that effect engine temp and performance. If you got plenty of smoke and no lean pinging after you come off a full speed pass I would think you are good to rippppp! I would just be careful you are asking alot of a 3 port to hang with the bigger engines.

Is there any consensus on the head clearance for a C6? Not shims, an actual measurement. 30% fuel.

Thanks.

The WS9 is a beast! My buddy has it in his MP9 and it flies with the
2045/198mm header. If money is not a issue you can't go wrong with the 2045 pipe! Putting the 2045/198mm combo in a Losi 8ight you may have to bend the header a tad to get good clearance away from the fuel tank. I easily bent mine with two craftsman nut driver put into each end of the header.
